The EU must become actively involved in trying to find a solution to the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh, which flared up again on April 2, killing dozens, according to two policy experts.

“If people have the possibility to sell weaponry, people have the opportunity to purchase weaponry. If you want them by it from Turkey, in any case, if they wish, and if they have the opportunity, they’ll buy it not from Russia, but from Turkey.”
“The importance of the ceasefire was stressed, the 1994 truce maintenance and strengthening, and the exclusively peaceful settlement within the OSCE Minsk group. It’s important that the ceasefire was maintained and the conflict is settled by political process, through diplomats, not armed forces, so that people don’t lose their lives. Russia is ready to use its influence for the political settlement of the conflict, within the OSCE Minsk group, so that the escalation of the conflict is excluded, as it’s full of dangerous risks,” Medvedev said.
Artsakh Armenians have chosen the path of building their own destiny in accordance with democratic principles. This was said by the Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan during a press conference in Stepanakert.
