The Armenian Genocide Centennial State Committee unanimously adopted a resolution on September 26 in Yerevan to form a Pan-Armenian Council. Also present were representatives of Armenian Genocide Centennial Committees (AGCC) from 40 countries, with the exception of the AGCC’s of the Eastern and Western United States.
Surveillance video cameras at the Consulate recorded a car stopping next to the Consulate building around 3 am. A passenger got out of the car and threw a bottle filled with flammable liquid after lighting it. Turkey has recalled its Ambassador to Brazil following the Brazilian Senate’s decision to recognize the Armenian Genocide. Motion 550 was discussed and unanimously adopted by the Brazilian Senate on June 2nd, 2015.
