“Graduates of military educational institutions are people who have chosen the military profession as a lifestyle, a mission. They begin their combat path as cadets and dream of becoming generals. But the large Army needs large numbers of junior officers, who will serve in the platoon-company circle.
A Smerch heavy multiple rocket launcher, the Tochka U tactical missile system, air defense systems, Grad multiple rocket launcher, howitzer artillery units and a T-90 tank are displayed at the exhibition.
Under the program, those draftees who will desire to serve in military bases which are engaged in combat shifts, will be eligible to serve under a new military service type – termcontractual.
“The best defender of a country is the man who realizes his share of responsibility for the Fatherland. Responsibility isn’t an abstract and sublime concept. Responsible is the man who at least has his own corner. Even if he doesn’t, he is sure that he will earn that corner through honest work.
The “Nation-Army” concept, proposed by the Armenian defense minister, is aimed at the discipline of the demanding citizen in the Armenian society in the field of security, President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan said in his speech during the opening of the “Nation-Army 2017” conference.

But love is The Promise’s stock in trade. “Along with this heavy topic, we’ve created a very moving and emotional love quadrangle that carries us through the film,” says Terry George (Hotel Rwanda), the film’s director and co-writer. “We set out to create something that would appeal to a broader audience. This is a big, old-fashioned love story that takes place during a very dark period in history.”
