Baku has made uncalled-for statements at the OSCE Mediterranean Conference in Palermo, which has nothing to do with the NK conflict, in an attempt to deviate the attention of the audience from the mass human rights violations in Azerbaijan, Armenian foreign ministry spokesperson Tigran Balayan said on Twitter.
The defense ministry of the Artsakh Republic released a video of the launch of SPIKE anti-tank guided missile used by Azerbaijani forces on October 22 and the trace left by it.
On October 22 the Azerbaijani forces, violating the recent agreement reached between the Armenian and Azerbaijani Presidents in Geneva by the mediation of the OSCE Minsk Group, fired artillery weapons at the north-eastern direction (Martakert-Mataghis) of the Artsakh-Azerbaijan line of contact, as well as fired 5 shells and SPIKE anti-tank guided missile at the Armenian positions, the defense ministry of the Artsakh Republic reported.
During the period from October 15 to 21 the Azerbaijani forces violated the ceasefire regime in the Artsakh-Azerbaijan line of contact by firing more than 2300 shots mainly from small arms at the Armenian positions.
On October 20, according to preliminary reports, Defense Army soldiers Aram S. Khachatryan (born in 1998) and Hrach A. Avetisyan (born in 1997) received fatal gunshot wounds as a result of violating the rules of arms use.
On October 19 President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan signed a decree on posthumously awarding serviceman of the Artsakh Republic Defense Army’s N division Tigran Khachatryan with “For Service in Battle” medal for bravery shown during the defense of the Artsakh Republic state border.
By violating the ceasefire regime on Karabakh-Azerbaijan contact line Azerbaijan shows that it’s not ready to constructive negotiation for the peaceful settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict, RPA spokesperson, Vice President of the National Assembly of Armenia Eduard Sharmazanov said after the Executive Body meeting of the party, commenting on the ceasefire violation by Azerbaijan on October 19, as a result of which one serviceman was killed.
Tigran Khachatryan, 1998, received fatal injury on October 19, at about 15:50 in the north-eastern direction of the contact line as a result of Azerbaijani shooting.

“We believe that the restoration of full-fledged talks with the direct participation of the Republic of Artsakh at all the stages should be another step on the way of achieving real progress in the settlement process of the Azerbaijani-Karabakh conflict”, reads the statement.
