The electricity prices in Armenia have been revised. The electricity tariff for consumers decreased by 1.22 drams. The session of the Public Services Regulatory Commission defined the following tariffs for consumers sold by “Electric Networks of Armenia.”
Visit of Iranian president to Armenia, bilateral statements made during those several hours, caused a big stir among political and expert circles, because as a result of the visit, basically, the circle of expectations related to Armenia-Iran relations was clearly shaped. And time will show what reflection those quite different expectations will have, in which volume and how they’ll be implemented.
“Azerbaijanis seem to make all possible proposals, however, considerable part of those proposals have been made, under the conditions of race with Armenia or contrary to Armenia, and their considerable part contains incomprehensible issues.”
“Today I asked the President of Iran to encourage major Iranian businessmen to come here and establish their businesses and for my turn I also promised to do the same in the Islamic Republic of Iran,” President Sargsyan said.
“I’m very happy, that they told me that from now on people of Meghri and Agarak may use Iranian gas. This means that we edify the result of invested efforts, gas may contribute to Armenia’s development, and houses will be warm as are their hearts,” Rouhani said.
“We must have a route connecting the Persian Gulf to the Black Sea through a railway. By this we will create favorable conditions for our people, as well as those of other regions”, he said.
“For us Armenia and Azerbaijan are friendly states, and we hope that we will witness establishment of stable peace in the region which will benefit the entire region. Undoubtedly, this conflict has no military solution. We want to witness the peaceful settlement of the conflict,” Rouhani said.
At the invitation of President Serzh Sargsyan, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Hassan Rouhani has arrived today on official visit to the Republic of Armenia. At the Zvartnots international airport the high guest was greeted by the President of Armenia.
“The point is that Russia doesn’t want working him, Russia has a more serious partner, with whom it works, in particular, partners, who don’t often conceal, that their issue is non-settlement of NK conflict.”
And as Armenian authorities also stated on their readiness at least not to oppose to that plan, Ter-Petrosyan proposes implementation of the propaganda part of that deal, in all likelihood, in the forthcoming parliament, or, for certain engagement with the leadership system, which is the same.
