Total number of employees in state system will be reduced by 3000 in 2017. Armenian PM Karen Karapetyan stated about this at the press conference launched on Friday. In which fields will main reductions be recorded in the state system and how much will be economized as a result of optimization?
In January-December 2016 passenger flow in “Zvartnots” airport comprised 2 million 105 thousand 540 people, exceeding last year’s index by 12%. This index has been the highest since 1992.

Judging from GDP indices for the first quarter 2016 and Economic Activity Index (EAI) for January-November 2016 (0.6%) it isn’t difficult to suppose that GDP will be less than 1% for the year—much lower, than anticipated.
“At the moment I consider it illogical to touch upon what scenario the negotiations will have, however, I am sure we have an option to ensure our security and victory through those negotiations,” the PM said.
“I’ve been a citizen of Armenia for the past five years, I have resided outside Yerevan. Does it comply with the limit of days to be included in the RPA list, I don’t know the answer, but if it doesn’t then I won’t be in the list.”
Pursuant data issued by the National Statistical Service foreign investments in real sector of Armenia’s economy have reduced by 72% throughout January-September 2016 (by AMD 69.6 billion) and comprised about AMD 30 billion.
