“Of course, I don’t consider that it’s coincidence: this is the reflection of Russian big policy in the South Caucasus, generally in the Caucasus. However, let’s observe them one by one, as Armenia is an independent, sovereign country, and although I’m completely sure, that military cooperation, as well as generally policy pursued by Russia contradicts Armenia’s national interests, Armenia’s authorities have the right to make that decision.”
“Armenia’s economic immunity has greatly changed during these years, we have managed to develop all the institutions that are able to well mitigate all the external negative waves and prevent them from reaching our people, families with no obstacles,” Serzh Sargsyan said, noting that Armenia recorded 29.3% economic growth in the period of 2007-2015, while the growth is assessed at 32% by the IMF.
The issue of defining consumer tariffs of natural gas by Gazprom Armenia was discussed at the November 25 session of the Public Services Regulatory Commission. The PSRC decided to set the following tariffs for natural gas sold by Gazprom Armenia to consumers.
“There is a greater threat that the conflict could evolve I mean the small conflict could become a large-scale one. But still I don’t think that will happen by an accident. I will disagree with the worries of the civil society organizations. I worry that one side will feel provoked and design a military action.”
Drop of beer production volumes and import growth. What should the state do in such cases? Support local producer/exporter or at least not create issues for them?

“Generally risks of state debt management today, yesterday, and tomorrow, are known to almost everyone and they’re the same. Depending on the structure of debt portfolio, priority of those risks and their management is being regularly changed.”
“A clear program is needed now, so that the time will come, when arriving in Armenia by plane, we could see from above solar panels, installed on all roofs,” Hayk Harutyunyan, Deputy Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of RA, told reporters today.
Economic Activity Index (EAI) in the period of January-October of ongoing year, as compared to the same period of the previous year, is 100.4. This means, that throughout the first ten months EAI has grown by 0.4% only. On a monthly basis the snapshot is even more disappointing: on October 2016, as compared to October 2015 EAI has decreased by 7.8%, and, as compared to September 2016—by 18.7%.
Besides the technical issue, ideological issue is existent as well: how will be elections held in Yerevan? What changes does Armenian president promise? How justified those promises are? Forthcoming elections are going to show that. I consider, after that the date of signing will be shaped,” Laure Delcour said.
