One worker has been killed following a collapse in the underground mine in Shamlukh district, which is operated by the Akhtala Mining and Processing Enterprise CJSC in Lori Province.

A 19 year old soldier of the Armenian Armed Forces, identified as Private Chaplin Margaryan, was shot and killed by Azerbaijani gunfire on October 10 while on duty at a military position in the north-eastern direction of the country.

12 young chess players aged under 16 from Armenia and abroad are taking part in the event.
The military exercises will be held in the territories of 4 countries – Russia, Armenia, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan. They will be attended by all member states of the CSTO. The goal is to improve CSTO’s leadership system.
