The key issue of negotiations over Nagorno-Karabakh (hereinafter NK) conflict settlement is the status of the disputed region, which must be resolved on the basis of the right of nations to self-determination. In this regard many experts and politicians point out the mechanism of resolution of Kosovo conflict as precedential for determination of the NK status.
“Presently the situation is as it has always been: the adversary is the same, its style is the same. Particularly in such a period we are maximally sober, perform respective operations to raise security level of our country. However, separate developments, not peculiar to the adversary, aren’t taking place. The adversary should always remember the philosophy of the abovementioned tea.”

This region is important for Russia, and from this perspective, as a secondary factor, the Americans will attempt to reflect to the developments in the South Caucasus.”
Azerbaijani forces also used 60mm and 82mm mortars in the north-eastern (Yarimja) and northern (Talish) directions, firing 13 and 56 shells respectively. The Defense Army of NKR didn’t suffer losses during the aggression of Azerbaijan.
Military posts located in the direction of Yarmja village are under especially intense bombardment. The Defense Army forces are taking countermeasures to suppress the Azerbaijani aggression.
“It seems like that anti-Armenian propaganda in Azerbaijan is facing some quite serious obstacles. That’s why they report such horrible and false information,” Babayan said.
President of Artsakh Republic (NKR) Bako Sahakyan issued a decree on November 3 appointing Victor Kocharyan deputy secretary of the NKR Security Council releasing him from the post of the NKR Security Council secretary.
“Turkish incumbent authorities don’t intend to interfere with NK conflict,” Cengiz Aktar, Turkish political analyst, publicist, told 168.am, reflecting to Turkey’s possible interference with NK conflict settlement. These days RF FM Sergey Lavrov stated that Turkey may play a positive role regarding prevention of blockade in Karabakh conflict.
“Azerbaijan attempts to neutralize the process of recognition of Artsakh from the West,” Russian political analyst Stanislav Tarasov told 168.am, reflecting to OSCE MG Co-Chairs’ regional visit.
