“This means that the Azerbaijani side is tended to some concession on the negotiation table, as its alternative is war, to which this side isn’t ready. I consider, under these conditions the maximal concession will be continuation of negotiations on a high level.”
“The Armenian side should demand installation of investigative mechanisms on the contact line and on the border, which will allow the Minsk Group to work more productively. Armenia may work a bit “aggressively” to that end,” he said.
“At the moment I consider it illogical to touch upon what scenario the negotiations will have, however, I am sure we have an option to ensure our security and victory through those negotiations,” the PM said.

“As the situation is tense on the border and on the contact line now, negotiations are at a deadlock, perhaps the Co-Chairs intend to show that they are concerned over the situation and NK issue is under their strict control and attention.”
From the positions of the NKR Defense Army, the monitoring will be conducted by staff member of the Office of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Peter Svedberg (Sweden) and head of the OSCE High Level Planning Group Colonel Hans Lampalzer (Austria).
“Karabakh issue and Karabakh conflict settlement are different: serious changes haven’t been recorded, it’s been a few years that the Co-Chairs aren’t dealing with the Karabakh issue settlement. They attempt not to settle the conflict, but reduce violence risks.”
Commenting on the provocative actions that took place in the border of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Sergey Minasyan said Azerbaijan uses the holiday season and tries to show that the tension in the border continues, peace is not maintained, military threats still exist.
“At the same time, the issue isn’t the Armenian representative, but recently serious issues have emerged between Moscow and Minsk. Those issues relate to the crisis in Ukraine, then Belarus intends to raffle national elements, authorities of Belarus have arrested Russian bloggers, thus, restricting their activity.”
