Presenting the steps taken, the PM said Armenia-Georgia-Russia trilateral talks were held aimed at reducing the tariffs for the cargo transportation at abovementioned routes.

“Beyond diplomatic rhetoric, we should take into account that this is a political message, “letter”, and undoubtedly it has its role in the Middle East policy, in Russia-USA relations. Armenia’s state debt as of February 2017 comprised AMD 2 trillion 901.3 billion or USD 5 billion 961.2 million. Compared with the beginning of the year Armenia’s state debt has grown by USD 25.7 billion, from which: government’s external debt in USD expression almost hasn’t changed, it remained within USD 4.3 billion.
“You know that, except the budget support program, we have other programs being implemented in Armenia under the EU finance and assistance. Those are ‘Twinning’, ‘TAIEX’, ‘SIGMA’, ‘Black Sea Basin program’ and etc., and two major instruments which Armenia joined by signing the respective documents. ‘Cosme’ program relates to small and medium enterprises and ‘Horizon 2020’ concerns science and education”, the Deputy Minister said.
“For instance, the World Bank, the European Investment Bank, Asian Development Bank, provide loans, while we provide grants,” he said.
“Our relations are very high both in all fields of bilateral cooperation and in regional issues. A few days ago I also stated in Yerevan that in our relations Armenia is bothered with Russia’s position only in NK conflict peaceful settlement.”
“The European Union goes to unprecedented concessions in case of Armenia,” Kakha Gogolashvili, Director of EU Studies at the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies, Georgian political scientist, told 168.am, reflecting to signing of Armenia-EU agreement.
“It seems to me that it’s clear: either for finance or they agree with the ideology that political party dictates. If they agree with those ideologies, rudely said, it’s their affair, and let them stand next to that power.”
“I consider, elections were held in more tolerant atmosphere. Our team has gained the vote of implementing changes in the country. That’s why I urge all our teammates: we declare our operating mode as emergency situation,” K.Karapetyan said.
