Generally, boycott out of political reasons isn’t a good thing. And tough banning is not correct. One shouldn’t be banned to buy a product of any country or having a vacation by law. Or even if it’s done, the citizen should be somehow compensated for that.
In my opinion, rather tense and worrying situation will be recorded in the conflict zone. This means, the sides will be on the threshold of clashes. Unfortunately, I’m not sure that the border won’t to be traversed, as tensions seem rather possible.
The Armenians were the victims of a major genocide 100 years ago that has even been called the “Armenian Shoah” by some Israeli scholars, including from Bar Ilan University. A great deal of their national and cultural ethos continues to focus passionately on the memory of that genocide (does that sound familiar to us Jews?).
NKR Defense Ministry shares the huge grieve of the loss and expresses solidarity with the family members, relatives and co-servicemen of the killed soldiers. NKR Defense Ministry announces that the activities of the adversary will not remain un-responded, while the Azerbaijani side will bear the responsibility for their consequences.
Russia preaches peace whilst flooding the region with its most sophisticated armaments; it wants international support for its peace efforts but does not want others to be part of the future solution. It wants to work in partnership, whilst trying to exclude everybody else from the region. These Russian contradictions also reflect themselves in the way that Russia deals with Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Undoubtedly, in case of resumption of wide-scale military operations, the society will mobilize not only manpower, but financial resources as well. And before that, many prefer to wait. As one of the officials stated that we don’t face issues regarding financial resources to purchase armaments, and the other adds, if necessary, he’ll sell one of his properties and will transfer the money to Artsakh, however, there is no need yet. So, it’s not excluded that 10 million Armenians are waiting for the generosity of a dozens of individuals.
The cement produced via out-of-date technologies was no more competitive in the market, and the owner has “exhausted” the plant as much as possible, and it went bankrupt. Just the same way like Baghdasarov’s other enterprises. However, businessman Mikhail Baghdasarov is a single character in our economy.
The Azerbaijani forces have deployed military units in populated regions and adjacent areas by violating the Article 52 of the 1949 Geneva Convention.
“We have mentioned earlier today about the Mataghis bombardment by the Azerbaijani armed forces. The Karabakhi side, adhering to its adopted strategy of facts, presents the video of Mataghis bombardment by the adversary over night April 27-28.”
While considering not the transferred amount, but the number of transferers, the difference becomes more than obvious. 4814 individuals and organizations transferred money to NKR special account as of April 26, and 4179 (87%) from them are in Armenian dram. Accordingly, Armenia’s participation in the process is much more.
