Digital technologies are the platform for development of digital economy, Member of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission – Minister Karine Minasyan said on July 13 in Yekaterinburg during a discussion on forming a common digital space in EEU territory at the “INNOPROM 2016” industrial forum.
“As a result of cooperation with Russians, Turks can’t raise any plane in the territory of Western Armenia, which we won’t be able to notice and down, . The issue is quite different, will a Russian want to down it? If we’re strong he’ll and if not, I can’t say. Currently they control the air of up to the border with Syria. They may shoot anything flying up to Vana Lake.”
Units of the 102nd Russian military base started the main phase of tactical exercises and went on to defense in high altitude conditions at Alagyaz polygon. Motorized rifle, tank, artillery and special forces interact in repelling attacks of conditional rival.
“However, saying that Ukraine was the main topic of the Summit will be great exaggeration. Major topic was security of the alliance. And this means—Russia. Decisions adopted in Warsaw—strengthening of NATO’s presence in the east of Europe, shift from missile defense system to initial martial readiness condition, show that they’re not going to sit with hands folded in the alliance and wait for new Russian provocations. In fact, that readiness has a rather serious sense. I’d say, for our country the fact, that Putin has awakened NATO, is important, as if NATO focused on Ukrainian issues, that would lead only to further escalation in our country.”
“NATO expressed its readiness to develop relations with all partners, including Armenia. Time will show upon which format Armenia-NATO cooperation will develop under the deepening confrontation between NATO and Russia. Armenia’s authorities, continuing to pursue traditional pro-Russian policy contribute to deepening of dividing lines in the region. It’s particularly observed against the background of Georgia-NATO relations.”
“In August and mid-July tension was recorded as in that period trainings of special subdivisions of Caspian Turks were over. Those military trainings were launched in the territory of Turkey and in the end of sniper courses all alumni were proving on Armenian borders that they’re specialists, and by shooting at Armenian soldiers and peaceful civilians, they were obtaining qualification. In short, I don’t anticipate anything in August, however I anticipate it in September and October,” he said.
“Azerbaijan didn’t review its revanchist and fascist approaches in any way, it’s their issue. If such a statement is made, we should somehow thank them for being frank from this perspective, they always state their purpose is annexation of Artsakh, destroying Artsakh, they don’t hide their approach. It’s strange, on the one hand we have such a neighbor, rather treacherous, and on the other hand, it frankly states on its intentions.”
“Under the conditions, when Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev touches upon unconditional return of liberated territories and exclusion of Karabakh’s independence, statements by the Armenian side regarding compromise resemble capitulation.”
“Currently Christianity faces serious challenges in the Middle East. Economic alert, unsafe conditions, terror and migration have serious implications. This situation isn’t only the concern of Christians, it should also become the concern of the Arabic world and Europe. Moreover, absence of Christian-Islam coexistence will turn that part of the world into a center of extremism. It’s a bothering phenomenon, practical expression of which we are already observing,” Aram A said.
According to the Bible, Armenia was the first wine-producing region in the world, since it was on the slopes of Mount Ararat that Noah planted the first vine after the flood. Archaeologists agree — at least on the long tradition: a 6,100-year-old winery was discovered not long ago.
