This was the voice of internal protest against the Government and main political parties, rather than against the EU. This was a remonstrance against polarization of wealth in the country, which mainly centralized in London and big cities. This was also a protest against elitist, all politicians cut-off from the people, as well as against the press.
Eduard Sharmazanov, NA Deputy Speaker, stated that this is an agreement coming from interests of Armenia and it should be ratified. In his words, as compared to Belarus and Kazakhstan, which signed a united system with Russia, in case of Armenia, it’s a unified system, that is, Armenia’s air defense maintains its independence and will be headed by Armenia.
“This information is contradictory what the outcome is, so the MG needs to clarify if the position of the Azerbaijani side has changed, well, then the MG needs to negotiate a way forward. There is so much unclear information here that it’s difficult to say much more on it specifically.”
Bryza stated that the Minsk Group should obviously sit down with president Aliyev and ask him for clarification, because what was announced after this most recent meeting of the presidents, that president Putin appeared in St. Petersburg, that they have agreed to develop that mechanism.
“Sharing any authority with other country is a problem. And in this regard, if the state faces such an imperative, we need to understand at least what it may gain for that. For Russia this is a small snapshot of a greater—NATO-Russia, USA-Russia, air and terrain—conflict, and if Russia itself gets keys of the Caucasus sky due to Armenia, a question arises here: what will it give for it? Only armaments?”
During the trial the prosecutor, demanding not such a severe punishment, at the same time reminded the foreigners, that there is no need, “to settle their political issues on the French ground.” Finally, the court sentenced Ter-Zakarian for one year in prison and obliged the dissatisfied party to pay one franc, as compensation.
The most important place in tax growth is occupied by payments for use of natural resources and protection of the environment. AMD 4.3 billion environmental fee has been collected this April instead of AMD 1.1 billion for the April of 2015. In this direction budget entries increased by AMD 3.2 billion or by four times. And environmental fee is mainly paid by mining enterprises.
